Professional piccolo from the Roy Seaman workshop, "M. Zentner" model.

Kansas native Miles F. Zentner played flute in the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for a few years, then took the piccolo position with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.  He was an on-and-off friend of our firm for more than three decades.  Not quite satisfied with piccolos being produced, he made an agreement with master flute maker Roy Seaman to build two models:  "Seaman" was the top picc, "Zentner", the almost-top. Miles told me, himself, that the two instruments were absolutely identical.   Our picc is being sold on the behalf of an estate of a superb lady whom we knew for more than six decades.  As I recall, we sold her the instrument about 20 years ago.  Principal flute in our Wichita Symphony Orchestra for two seasons, then removed to Omaha where she lived happily ever-after.   The instrument is in mint, or close to mint, condition.  Pads are new, No cracks, clean, finest quality.
